May you always have blue skies.

Who Are Dem Delts?

There isn't really one way to describe an active member of Delta Sigma Chi- and we like it that way! No two Delts dressed in their navy blue and white are exactly alike, but what they share is a bond that goes deeper than the letters on their shirt. What they share is a common spirit, pride in their society and dedication to the humility of blue, the purity of white and the wisdom of gold.

Promoting our sisterhood and simultaneously applauding our differences we pride ourselves on our diversity as a group on campus. We are involved members of many other student organizations, athletic teams, and academic honoraries, and while we may be affiliated with other groups, our connection to Delta Sigma Chi remains important to each member. Our devotion to our sisters is unwavering and our love for the history, memories and songs of our society is forever.

What are some of the Delts achievements?

We are very proud of our philanthropic projects and have been recognized by the campus as a society that promotes service projects and active community involvement. Our main philanthropic organization is the American Heart Association. Each fall we participate in the annual Seneca County Heart Walk and each spring we organize a 24-hour Dance-A-Thon in Tiffin to raise money for the American Heart Association. In addition to our commitment to the American Heart Association we also work with the Ritz, the Humane Society, the YMCA and many other organizations in the Tiffin Community.

We also pride ourselves on our commitment to academic success. To be a member of Delta Sigma Chi you are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA and many of our active members frequently exceed this GPA requirement.

What do the Delts DO?

Before school starts each summer we hold our annual retreat. Usually an overnight event, it is a time for all of us to get together, relax, and reconnect before the busy school year gets underway. We order pizza, play cornhole, watch movies, and enjoy being in the company of our sisters again.

Each semester we hold at least one themed date party where Delts and their date can relax and have a good time. Some of our recent themes have been "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day", "Pirates vs. Ninjas", and "Flappers and Gangsters." Our last social gathering each spring is an off campus Formal, which has been held in Windsor, Columbus, and Cleveland. We also plan a lot of different activities with our corollary, the Delt Guys. The Delt Guys are a group of guys who are extremely supportive of us throughout the year and are invited to our parties and Formal, New Member Education activities and other Delt sponsored events each semester. We also try to attend many campus sponsored events as a group to show our support for 'Berg activities.

More than the parties, meetings, ceremonies and Greek Sing practices, the most important part of our sisterhood is creating memories. At the end of your time as a Delt you can sit back and reflect on all the great times you have had with your Delta sisters.

Not Just For Four Years...For Life!

Joining our society really isn't just for four years but for life! Our alumnae continue to be involved with our society, even after graduation; visiting  campus each year for Homecoming, Greek Sing , and of course, New Member Education.  In fact, our alumnae recently created an Alumnae Association, providing us with additional alumnae support and encouragement.
